Task

Like all good authors, Mrs. Osborne does extensive research on her topics before writing her books, since they are based on actual events and people in history. For the contest, the publishers are requiring contestants to research an inventor and his or her invention and present those facts in a written report that Mrs. Osborne could use to decide if she thinks that person would be a good character for one of her new books. They also want contestants to create a story map of the possible fiction story that would come from that research. The winning idea will be made into a new Magic Tree House book!
