If you pick up your High School student after class each day or you have a High School driver, the two new construction projects on campus will cause your afternoon routine to be altered.  These changes in traffic patterns on campus will be in effect for the remainder of this school year and will – more than likely – continue in the 2012-2013 school year.

Please be aware of the following changes that could affect your afternoon routine:

• Students cannot be picked up from the south end of the school between 2:10 and 2:40 each school day.  A gate will prevent you from travelling to this area.  Students will be loading buses in the south lot and we must keep traffic to a minimum as this occurs.  It is recommended that you pick up your student at the north entrance to the High School.  Otherwise, you must wait until after 2:40 to use the south lot.

• Buses will leave the parking lots – both north and south – at precisely 2:37 

• Student drivers will not be allowed to move their vehicles until all buses have exited the parking lots.&nbsp

• Bus routes loading in the north parking lot (front of school) will include: 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 42, 43 and Kirbyville 

• Bus routes loading in the south parking lots (back entrance) will include: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17

These new driving practices are being instituted for the safety of our students.  An extra dose of patience will be needed for all of us during this construction phase.  Thank you for your support throughout this process.
