The Branson School District’s transportation fleet earned a safety rating of 100% during the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s annual bus inspection in March. Of the district’s 65 buses reviewed, none had any issues requiring repairs or removal from the fleet.
Buses are inspected annually by five Highway Patrol officers who check for problems in areas such as coolant hoses, brakes, air pressure, lights, belts, tires, carrier bearings, drive shaft and many other items that make the bus efficient and safe. No items were found to be defective and a perfect score was awarded by the officers. The district’s transportation team is led by Robert Watson.
