Beginning November 30, all District students in grades PK-12 will be required to wear face coverings. A change in guidance for quarantine practices prompted us to require face coverings for grades PK-3. An update is included in this link along with guidance from state officials.
The school district is recruiting sponsors to provide assistance to some of our students in need this holiday season through our Christmas Assistance Program. Due to COVID restrictions and our district stance on prohibiting others from entering our buildings, gift shopping for families and pickup will be suspended this year. Eligible families will receive gift cards to shop and purchase gifts for their own students.
Beginning Tuesday, September 8, all students will have the opportunity to eat breakfast and lunch free of charge. Through a waiver from the USDA, public schools can provide these meals to all students who are enrolled in seated classes. The free meal service will continue through December 31, 2020.
Practicing social distancing and wearing face coverings are a part of our daily routine. These practices also carry over to attendance at district activities and athletic events. We ask that you adhere to the district policies when attending events this fall. You can view the spectator guidelines here
