    CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
    *Be Ready (assignments, class materials)
*Be Respectful (to your teacher, classmates, classroom)
*Be Responsible (make good choices with behavior and time)

Being a responsible student requires participating in class by listening, taking notes, and asking questions. It is your responsibility to make sure you know assignment due dates, have assignments properly labeled, and turn them in when they are due. Assignments and test dates will be announced in class. Record assignments and dates. Begin studying for a test several days before.

    CLASSROOM GRADES
Participation:  classroom practice, homework, labs            20%
Quizzes:  weekly quizzes over vocab and concepts            30%
Tests/Assessments:  unit tests, activities, projects             50%

    ABSENT
If you are absent from class, it is your responsibility to get missed assignments and turn in once complete. Labs and tests that need to be made up, may need to be completed before or after school. Late work not turned in within a reasonable time may affect your participation grade.
