Pirate Chromebook Protection Plan (2026-2027)
Ahoy, Branson Families! To ensure our students have smooth sailing with their digital learning, Branson Public Schools is launching the Pirate Chromebook Protection Plan. This provides accident protection for our school-issued devices, managed directly by the Branson Technology Department.
Coverage Details & Pricing
Enrollment protects you from the full cost of repairing or replacing your device, limiting your responsibility. Standard wear and tear is expected, but intentional damage is not.
- Annual Damage Waiver Cost: $5.00 per student
- Effective Dates: Coverage extends from the date of purchase through June 30, 2027

Claim Process & Pirate Promise
If your device hits rough waters, don't worry! Follow these steps to get it ship-shape again:
- Report it: Immediately contact your student’s Chromebook Help Desk.
- Assessment: Technicians will evaluate the damage to determine coverage.
- Payment: Pay any owed deductibles to the school office via cash, check, or our Linq online portal.
- Repair: Receive a loaner device (if available) while your primary device is fixed.

I agree to use it in accordance with all district policies and accept responsibility for any damage or loss. The District reserves the right to revoke privileges if there is evidence of careless or destructive behavior.
