Buchanan Elementary would like to extend an invitation to all veterans to attend a recognition assembly on Friday, November 7 (the Friday before Veterans Day).
If your student has a connection with a veteran, please extend this invitation to them and respond with a RSVP to ensure we have enough seating for all attendees.
We would also like to honor your student's veteran by having their photo displayed as part of our Veterans Day wall. Send a photo (copy only) of your loved one who served our country. Please put their name, your child's name and teacher's name on the back so we can get the photocopy back to you after Veterans Day.
A flyer with all this information went home with your student. If you are interested in participating please RSVP and return the lower portion of the flyer to your student's teacher by October 23.
