BHS Hosts 11th Annual Math Games

BHS hosted its 11th Annual Math Games on November 10. Fifty-four Branson students competed in the three-round event which consisted of a 45-minute multiple choice test relating to the student’s current math course; a Sudoku contest; and a four-person elimination competition. The students are under the direction of Barb Cogdill and Lora Niles.

Results are as follows:

Algebra I

Isaiah Fulton, 1st place; Charlie Motley, 2nd place; and Kloee Hamon, 3rd place

Geometry

Grace Bard, 1st place; Athena Waddle, 2nd place; and Stone Hose, 3rd place

Algebra II

Tyke Wells, 1st place; Zach Turner, 2nd place; and Eli Blair, 3rd place

College Prep Algebra

Stevie Fischer, 1st place; Isley Johnson, 2nd place; and Josh Schmitt, 3rd place

Pre-Calclus I

Ben Walworth, 1st place; Yijie Zhao, 2nd place; and Aden Arnette, 3rd place

Calculus

TJ Hauger, 1st place; Gatlin Myer, 2nd place; and Jacob Motley, 3rd place
