District Voices Advance to State

Branson High School vocalists competed at the South Central District Music Contest held March 9 at Clever High School  Those students earning an Exemplary rating will advance to the State Music Contest scheduled April 27 on the campus of the University of Missouri-Columbia. They are under the direction of Jacob Carlew.

There were 75 students who competed at the district level and 39 of those earned an Exemplary rating advancing them to the State Music Contest. The BHS students, collectively, through solos and ensembles, brought home 55 Exemplary ratings.

Students advancing to the contest in April include:
