Honor Council Award Goes to BHS

The BHS Student Council has been named an Honor Council by the Missouri Association of Student Councils. Honor Councils must establish a comprehensive program in promoting student activities and student leaders. The award was made at the annual state Student Council Meeting held at Lindbergh High School on March 11.

Honor Council activities must include the following:  school service; school spirit; community service; student and teacher recognition; and leadership training. The Missouri Association of Councils also recognized the leadership of BHS advisors Sunshine Ridinger and Todd Koon, along with BHS principal Jack Harris, who played a large role in the council’s achievement.
