BHS had 20 FFA members who qualified to compete at the Missouri State Convention held in Columbia on April 25 and 26. This number is an all-time high for Branson competitors at the state level. The students are under the direction of Nicole Crocker and Aaron Magnuson.
FFA members and their results include:
State FFA degree (highest honor a state can bestow): Jack Burnell, Jolie Clotfelter, Dylan Chaney and Quinton Hinds.
Forestry Team placed 8th and earned a Group I rating (119 district teams); Dylan Chaney, Quinton Hinds, Ivan Fulton and Molly Hagston
Meats Team placed 10th and earned a Group I rating (136 district teams); Baily Shay, Paydon Henderson, Savannah Mazzola and Jack Burnell
Poultry Team placed 10th and earned a Group I rating (116 district teams); Grace Tate, Tristyn Custer, Madyson Reinke and Sheila Brand
Livestock Team; Group 11 rating; Severo Vargas, Cameron Hunt, Ian Dicken and Nick Westfall
