Student Council Honored for Blood Drives

BHS Student Council recently sponsored a successful blood drive that placed it among the top performing school-sponsored blood drives in the area. The events were coordinated through the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks. The reporting period includes August of 2018 through November 2019. Branson High School had the second highest donation rate (actual productive units) among participating high schools. Additional categories are business, community, religious organizations, colleges, government and healthcare.  BHS Student Council is under the direction of Sunshine Ridinger and Todd Koon.

Results for area high schools include:

Kickapoo - four drives with 293 donations

Branson – two drives with 283 donations

Neosho – three drives with 267 donations

Central – three drives with 257 donations

Ava – six drives with 235 donations
