What does AMI look like this school year?
On the third consecutive day of inclement weather, AMI will be implemented.
Day 1 of inclement weather = Snow Day
Day 2 in a row of inclement weather = Snow Day
Day 3 in a row of inclement weather = AMI Day
How will I know whether it's a Snow Day or an AMI Day?
In the event of inclement weather, parents, staff and students will be notified of either a school cancellation or an Alternative Methods of Instruction day through:
- SchoolMessenger
- the district website
- radio station KRZK (106.3 FM)
- local TV media
- district social media channels
How will attendance be taken?
All PK-12 students are expected to login to their Canvas accounts to receive announcements and assignments from their teachers on AMI days to be considered in attendance. Attendance will be confirmed through any of the following: virtual meetings on the AMI day, phone/email contact on the AMI day, logging into Canvas on the AMI day, and/or assignments completed within four days of the AMI day.
