Program Purpose:

Under Title III of "Every Student Succeeds Act" of 2016, which is a federal law, our district is required to identify language minority students, to assess progress in English proficiency, and to provide eligible children with services that would increase their English proficiency and their academic achievement. Branson School District provides educational services and support to help English Learners (ELs) reach proficiency in the English language and to achieve academic success in grades K-12. This program is designed to develop academic English proficiency skills and comprehension in listening, speaking, reading, and writing as well as conversational fluency.
