Seal of Biliteracy & Pathway to Biliteracy

Pathway to Biliteracy

We invite your student to participate in an exciting opportunity to celebrate multilingual abilities.

The Branson R-IV School District would like to recognize students in grades K-8 who demonstrate an ability to communicate in more than one language, based on designated criteria.  The Pathway to Biliteracy Award can be earned by demonstrating appropriate tasks in English and another language each school year. Applications should be returned to building EL Specialists by the deadline each spring.  Students will be recognized with a certificate at the end of each school year in which they have met the criteria for the Pathway to Biliteracy Award.

Applications for the 2023-2024 Pathway to Biliteracy were provided to every student in grades K-8 on April 12, 2024 and can also be found below.  Your student’s application is due to their building EL Specialist by April 22, 2024.  Please assist when necessary, but encourage your student to complete as much of the application as they can on their own.
