An application must be completed for both the Missouri Department of Education and Branson Schools.

After receiving your Branson application, your name will be placed on the next upcoming board agenda as a substitute employee at Branson (you do not need to attend).  After the meeting, those that have met all the certifications and requirements will be invited to a training. Attending a training is mandatory before substituting.

Due to federal regulations governing our payroll, you are required to present your social security card when applying to be a substitute employee at Branson Schools. We will not compensate you for hours worked without presenting your card.

Due to the Healthcare Reform Act, substitutes will be limited to substituting four days during a work-week.

Returning Substitutes

You are considered a returning substitute if you were on the substitute list during the 2022-2023 school year and received at least one payroll deposit.

Returning substitutes must complete a new application and corresponding checklist.
