MOCAP Virtual Education

The online learning enrollment window for the Spring 2024 semester has closed.  The window was  open from December 1st - January 26th.   If students are interested in online learning for the Fall 2024 window it will open in July.

Students wishing to enroll in online classes must complete Branson Schools registration in Parent Portal and submit proof of residency in the Branson School District before they will be accepted in to online learning classes.   Proof of residency can be turned in to the buildings or emailed to the virtual education office.

Students wishing to enroll in online classes must apply and be granted admission.  Admission is granted based on previous grades, attendance, class participation and building leadership recommendation.  Students who are denied enrollment in online courses will receive a letter explaining the reason for denial and how they can appeal the decision.

Branson Public Schools partners with LAUNCH, a state-approved vendor, to provide this opportunity to students. LAUNCH is a non-profit organization which offers over 180 courses to students in grades K-12. These courses are aligned to Missouri state standards and taught by Missouri certificated teachers.

The Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (MOCAP) is DESE's umbrella program to provide virtual education to students throughout the state of Missouri. MOCAP contracts with vendors to provide virtual learning to districts.
