MOCAP Virtual Education

The Fall enrollment window has closed.  The Fall enrollment window was open from from July 15th - August 27th.  At this time the district is not accepting applications for online learning.

The Spring enrollment window will open on Wednesday, December 1st and close on Friday, January 7th.  The link to apply for the Spring enrollment window will be posted here on December 1st.

Students wishing to enroll in online classes must apply and be granted admission.  Admission is granted based on previous grades, attendance, class participation and building leadership recommendation.  Students who are denied enrollment in online courses will receive a letter explaining the reason for denial and how they can appeal the decision.

Branson Public Schools partners with LAUNCH, a state-approved vendor, to provide this opportunity to students. LAUNCH is a non-profit organization which offers over 180 courses to students in grades K-12. These courses are aligned to Missouri state standards and taught by Missouri certificated teachers.

The Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (MOCAP) is DESE's umbrella program to provide virtual education to students throughout the state of Missouri. MOCAP contracts with vendors to provide virtual learning to districts.
