Family, Career and Community Leaders of America
Eligibility Requirements: Anyone who is in a Family and Consumer Science course may join Family, Career, Community Leaders of America.
Time Commitment: BHS FCCLA chapter has one monthly meeting. Social activities and Community Service activities vary each month
Meetings: FCCLA meetings are the first Thursday of each month in room 501 @ 7:10 am.
Procedure for Joining: You may join FCCLA at any time of the year. To get full benefits of membership it is recommended to join prior to FCCLA regional meeting. It costs $20.00 to join FCCLA and you also receive an FCCLA t-shirt.
Description: FCCLA is a Family & Consumer Science student organization that encourages individuals to serve their community, home, and school. The organization plans a social activity each month, participates in regional, state, and national meetings, and STAR Events competitions. Several Community Service projects are planned each year.
Expectations: Come to meetings and activities to have fun with friends.
