Dr. Kara Swofford brings a strong foundation in early childhood education and leadership to her role as Principal of Cedar Ridge Primary. She previously served as Director of the Teacher Education Department at College of the Ozarks and Principal of Reeds Spring Early Education Center and Primary School. She earned a Bachelor's, a Master's, and a Specialist degree from Missouri State University. She obtained her doctorate from the University of Arkansas, focusing on Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Elementary Reading.
“I am honored and thrilled to serve the Cedar Ridge Primary School community,” says Swofford. “I look forward to partnering with our amazing staff and families to inspire curiosity, foster growth, and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.”
Dr. Swofford and her husband, Brad, are proud parents of three daughters and long-time supporters of Branson Schools.
