Welcome to the Cedar Ridge Intermediate Counseling Corner! We are proud to serve as your school counselors.
As school counselors, our responsibility is to promote the academic, personal, and social development of all students. We look forward to offering support to the students, staff, families, and our community.
Throughout the school year, we will be conducting classroom counseling lessons twice monthly in all 4-6 classrooms. These lessons teach skills essential to both social and academic success, focusing on core social-emotional skills such as empathy, friendship skills, emotion management, and problem-solving. We also meet with students individually and offer small groups when made aware of a specific student needs.
Any student can request to meet with a counselor, or a teacher, administrator, or parent can refer them. We encourage you to reach out if you have any concerns regarding your child. We are here to serve you!
